Basketball Game Preview: Rossville Christian Academy Wolves vs. Wayne Academy Jaguars

The Rossville Christian Academy Wolves will face off against the Wayne Academy Jaguars at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Rossville Christian Academy is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Magnolia Heights just ended the team's 13-game winning streak on Monday. The contest between them and the Chiefs didn't end well, with Rossville Christian Academy falling 54-40. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Fred Motley, who posted ten points and eight boards. Seth Williams was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Wayne Academy blew past Park Place Christian Academy, posting a 61-29 victory.

Wayne Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Rossville Christian Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-9.
