For the first time ever, Jaylen Tate turned in triple-digit rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 158 yards, helping propel Shelby past Stuart W. Cramer by a score of 50-29. The performance beat out his previous best set on Friday, when he rushed for 93 rushing yards.

Tate and Shelby will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lincolnton at 7:30 p.m. on October 10.
