Volleyball Game Preview: Manila Mustangs vs. St. Joseph Jayhawks

The Manila Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the St. Joseph Jayhawks at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Manila has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while St. Joseph will come in with four straight wins.

On Saturday, Manila came up short against Rich and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 23-25, 25-14, 25-11.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph earned a 3-1 victory over Ben Lomond on Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 23-25, 25-17.

Manila's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Manila couldn't quite get it done against St. Joseph in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
