Basketball Recap: Crofton Comes Up Short

Crofton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 75-44 loss at the hands of the Boone Central Cardinals. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Crofton's loss came despite strong showings from Trevor Allen and Tyson Jackson. Allen posted 12 points, while Jackson put up 12 points. Darin Babcock also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Crofton's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Boone Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Crofton nor Boone Central have any future games scheduled.
