Perry Central came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-1 to the St. Patrick Fighting Irish. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Perry Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Carter, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Perry Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-1. As for St. Patrick, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
