Football Game Preview: Mosley Dolphins vs. Florida State University High School Seminoles + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Jp Holsombake and Jayme Miller are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Mosley Dolphins will be playing at home against the Florida State University High School Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mosley has seven straight wins, Florida State University High School has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Thursday, everything came up roses for Mosley against Gulf Breeze as the team secured a 54-14 victory. The result was nothing new for Mosley, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Carson Griffin was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 108 receiving yards and three scores. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 74 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalil Lauderdale, who gained 80 total yards and a touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Mosley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was Jordan Parbery with two. Another thorn in Gulf Breeze's side was Dawson Reed, who made seven total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Mosley, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Holden Hinson, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Florida State University High School played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 56-35 to Bishop Moore.

Mosley's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Florida State University High School, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
