After losing to Kansas the last time they met, Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Grove Ridgerunners pulled ahead with a 50-49 photo finish over the Kansas Comets on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ridgerunners.

Grove is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Kansas, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

Grove will be playing in front of their home fans against Claremore Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Kansas has already played their next game, a 68-47 win against Jay on the 25th.
