Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglas). Everything went their way against the Myrtle Point Bobcats on Thursday as they made off with a 14-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their one-run performance the match before.

Douglas' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Myrtle Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Douglas beat the Bobcats by a score of 8-3 later that day.
