Basketball Game Preview: Franklin County Eagles vs. Floyd County Buffaloes

Having just played yesterday, the Franklin County Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Floyd County Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Franklin County ended up a good deal behind Magna Vista and lost 52-38. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Floyd County was able to grind out a solid win over Wilmington Christian Academy on Monday, taking the game 64-53. Given the Buffaloes' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 104th in Virginia, while the Patriots are ranked 336th in North Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Floyd County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
