Volleyball Recap: Koshkonong Falls to Couch in First Game of Season

Koshkonong kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Couch Indians, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

While Koshkonong was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-11.

Couch found their leader in sophomore Saphera Smith, who had six kills, six digs, and four aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Couch and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Koshkonong will head out on the road to square off against Mansfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Couch, they will be playing at home against Ellington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
