Gowanda won against Forestville Central on Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Randolph Cardinals 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Cardinals two weeks ago, they had to take a 9-8 loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Gowanda and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Randolph, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Coming up, Gowanda will face off against Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Randolph does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
