Basketball Recap: Dougherty Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lee County, Dougherty was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-42 win over the Colquitt County Packers. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Packers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Dougherty back to even at 1-1. As for Colquitt County, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Looking ahead, Dougherty will challenge Mitchell County at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Colquitt County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 3:00 p.m. on the 25th.
