Volleyball Recap: Leverett's Chapel Comes Up Short

Leverett's Chapel was the 3-1 winner over Union Hill when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Leverett's Chapel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Union Hill, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leverett's Chapel will head out to take on Waskom at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Union Hill, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Overton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
