Football Recap: Lincoln County Skates Past Battle Creek with Ease + How To Watch

Lincoln County never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Battle Creek Grizzlies 49-0. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Falcons had established a 42-point advantage.

Lincoln County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maddox Franklin out in front who threw for 213 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 passes. What's more, Franklin racked up 138.6 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Another rusher making a difference was Carsen Carter, who rushed for 62 yards and one score on only six carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Lincoln County proved: they limited Battle Creek to a paltry -1 yards per carry. The Falcons didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.6.

The win was the third in a row for Lincoln County, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 31.0 points this season. As for Battle Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
