Softball Recap: Southern Alamance Takes a Loss

Southern Alamance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls.

Southern Alamance's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hickory Ridge, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Alamance will take on Eastern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Hickory Ridge, they will venture away from home to face off against Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
