It's playoff time, and Carver had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Pierce County Bears with a sharp 48-28 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

The victory keeps Carver at an undefeated 12-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.2 points on average this season. As for Pierce County, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.
