Football Recap: Clarkston Falls to Heard County in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Clarkston had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 49-6 loss at the hands of the Heard County Braves on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Ethan Tisdale was a one-man wrecking crew For Heard County. as he threw for 237 yards and four TDs while completing 92.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards. The dominant performance also gave Tisdale a new career-high in passer rating (171.1). Another player making a difference was Zaiden Moreland, who picked up 66 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Clarkston will face off against Temple at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heard County, they will challenge South Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
