Soccer Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

If Troy was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Rim of the World last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Troy Warriors fell just short of the Brea Olinda Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Warriors couldn't quite close it out.

With the defeat, Troy broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2-3. As for Brea Olinda, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Villa Park the next time they take the pitch. Troy will host Villa Park at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Brea Olinda will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
