HCYA are taking a road trip to face off against the Liberty Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. HCYA is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

HCYA is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering St. John's just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. Neither they nor the Mavericks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 7-7 draw.

Meanwhile, Liberty fell victim to Lake Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to the Lions. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. With that tie, HCYA's record moves to 17-5-3.

HCYA couldn't quite finish off Liberty in their previous matchup back in April of 2021 and fell 5-3. Can HCYA avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
