Softball Recap: North Haven Takes a Loss

North Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Mercy Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Nighthawks have suffered against the Tigers since April 17, 2015.

North Haven's record is now 2-7. As for Mercy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Haven will head out to take on Guilford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Nighthawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grizzlies have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Mercy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Southington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
