It was a good run, but Rolla unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Howell Vikings.

Rolla's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylee Dodson, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Akaela Caquelin, who posted 11 points.

Rolla's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Howell, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Rolla and Raytown will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Howell, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Point at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
