Adams Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Hastings, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Hastings won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, slipping by Adams Central 49-48. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Patriots' Hunter Nepple, who had 26 points.
