Baseball Recap: Chicago Academy Comes Up Short

Chicago Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Disney II Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-3 last Tuesday.

Chicago Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Casillas, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Casillas has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.

Chicago Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Disney II, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Chicago Academy will face off against Intrinsic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Disney II, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-4 victory against Westinghouse on the 28th.
