Baseball Recap: Yulee Gets the Win

It's playoff time, and Yulee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Parker Braves on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Brayden Giovannoni looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Daylon Adams, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Kenny Schweitzer was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Yulee's record now sits at 15-11. As for Parker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

Yulee will face off against St. Augustine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
