Chrisman and Truman are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2019, but likely not for long. The Bears will head out to face off against the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Chrisman has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 2.

Monday just wasn't the day for Chrisman's offense. They came up short against Grain Valley on Monday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Chrisman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Grain Valley are ranked 38th).

Belton typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Truman proved too difficult a challenge. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pirates a 1-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for Truman in their matchups with Belton: they've now won four in a row.

Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Truman, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Chrisman suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Truman when the teams last played back in September. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
