Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Tigers vs. Eagle Rock Eagles

Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Eagle Rock recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Eagles at 2:15 p.m. Lincoln has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lincoln is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Wednesday. They lost 13-0 to Franklin.

Meanwhile, Eagle Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of Wilson.

Manny Fino put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Fino was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Orion Natrop was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs. Another player making a difference was Jacob Diaz, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Lincoln's record now sits at 3-9. As for Eagle Rock, their record is now 2-11.

Lincoln couldn't quite finish off Eagle Rock in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
