Soccer Game Preview: Rock Hill vs. McKinney

The Rock Hill Blue Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the McKinney Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rock Hill's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Rock Hill took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Plano, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Hawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, McKinney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Plano East, falling 8-3. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

McKinney's loss dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Rock Hill, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Rock Hill suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to McKinney in their previous meeting back in February. Can Rock Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
