Preview: Watford City vs. Shanley
Watford City had trouble last week, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they take on Shanley at 6:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Watford City, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-46, which was the final score in Watford City's tilt against Jamestown.
Meanwhile, Shanley simply couldn't be stopped, as they easily beat Grafton/St. Thomas/Drayton 49-0.
Shanley's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Watford City's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Shanley can add another positive mark to their record or if Watford City can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Shanley's step.
