Recap: Webster Warriors vs. Mingo Valley Christian Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to the Webster Warriors, who are still winless after their fifth match. They fell 58-49 to Mingo Valley Christian on Thursday.
Despite the loss, Webster saw an underclassman step up: Hondo Avington scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Amondre Davis, who scored 16 points.
Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mingo Valley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Webster won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Okmulgee at 2:30 p.m. on December 8th. Mingo Valley Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Santa Fe South at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th.
