Recap: Reeltown Rebels vs. Luverne Tigers

The Reeltown Rebels put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Luverne 40-13 at home. The result was nothing new for Reeltown, who have now won seven contests by 27 points or more so far this season.

Alijah Woods got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Reeltown's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Baylor Clayton and his two sacks.

Reeltown's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.6 points per game. As for Luverne, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Reeltown will be playing in front of their home fans against Highland Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Highland Home's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Luverne will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against LaFayette at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. LaFayette is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
