Soccer Recap: Clarksville Takes a Loss

Clarksville lost against Rossview back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1.

Clarksville's goal came courtesy of Damien Barnes, who's now up to six this season.

Clarksville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4-1 record this season. As for Rossview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3-3.

Clarksville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against West Creek on the 13th. As for Rossview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Henry County on the 13th.
