Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 13-10 to the Lincoln Cardinals. The Quakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 16-6.

Franklin's record now sits at 6-12-1. As for Lincoln, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Franklin and Lincoln will both be playing Ida B. Wells the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will host the Guardians at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Quakers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
