Soccer Recap: Lanier County Comes Up Short

Lanier County lost against Worth County back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 10-0 to the Rams. Considering the last time Lanier County couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Lanier County was without their leading scorer, Sayla Schade, in Thursday's match. With Schade sidelined, Kenlyn Taylor got her first action of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Lanier County and nudges their season record down to 6-8. As for Worth County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Lanier County nor Worth County have any future games scheduled.
