Basketball Recap: Basha Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Basha fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Perry on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 70-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perry Pumas. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Pumas: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Basha saw an underclassman step up: freshman Claire Mcmahon went 7 of 15 on her way to 15 points and eight rebounds. Madison Garner was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven boards.
