Baseball Game Preview: Coronado Mustangs vs. Plainview Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Coronado will face off against Plainview. The Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coronado will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Coronado proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Plainview 3-2.

Matt Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Coronado's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Zac Long, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

With the loss, Plainview broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-11. As for Coronado, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
