Basketball Recap: North Bend Takes a Loss

North Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Junction City Tigers. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-45 back in January.

North Bend's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Junction City, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cottage Grove the next time they take the court. Junction City will head out to face Cottage Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while North Bend will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th.
