Softball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Edison's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stagg Delta Kings on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Delta Kings: they've now lost five in a row.

Alicia Leiva spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits. Those hits were her first of the season.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Stagg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-6 defeat against Chavez on the 27th. As for Stagg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 20-0 win against Franklin on the 27th.
