Baseball Recap: Whitko Comes Up Short

Whitko fell victim to Manchester and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Squires. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Squires: they've now lost three in a row.

Whitko saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Grable, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

Whitko's record now sits at 10-8. As for Manchester, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-11 record.

As for Manchester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lewis Cass at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Squires will need to watch out since the Kings have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
