Basketball Recap: Oak Ridge Comes Up Short

Oak Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 69-33 loss at the hands of the Scott City Rams. While losing is never fun, the Blue Jays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 472nd, while the Rams are ranked 88th).

Oak Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Scott City, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Scott City beat Oak Ridge by a score of 69-33 on Wednesday.
