Volleyball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Girard Trojans. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Girard, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Columbus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Riverton on the 23rd. As for Girard, they will square off against Louisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
