Basketball Game Preview: Boles Hornets vs. North Hopkins Panthers

Boles hasn't had much luck against North Hopkins recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Boles Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Hopkins Panthers at 8:00 p.m. Boles has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Boles is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 104-28 victory over Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, North Hopkins waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 51-40 victory over the Eagles.

North Hopkins pushed their record up to 11-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.5 points. As for Boles, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Boles suffered a grim 69-47 defeat to North Hopkins in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Boles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
