Basketball Recap: Lola Doyal's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Central School over Prairie View Academy

Central School lost against Prairie View Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Central School Pioneers lost 40-17 to the Prairie View Academy Spartans. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lola Doyal, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Amanda Seekford, who had five points.

Central School's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Prairie View Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Central School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-32 victory against Union Christian Academy on the 17th. Prairie View Academy and Riverdale Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
