While Estancia's win against Rancho Alamitos wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Vaqueros 3-2. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Vaqueros recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Estancia had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 22-25, 26-24, 28-26, 15-13.

Estancia's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Rancho Alamitos, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Estancia will challenge rival Bolsa Grande at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rancho Alamitos is set to face off against their familiar foe Santiago at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
