Basketball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Menifee County Wildcats. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Menifee County, they moved to 4-13 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Fairview will square off against Martin County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Martin County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Menifee County has already played their next game (against Breathitt County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
