Basketball Recap: Reeths-Puffer Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Reeths-Puffer Rockets were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 68-63 to the Traverse City West Titans. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Titans are ranked 26th).

Reeths-Puffer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Traverse City West, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Reeths-Puffer will welcome Whitehall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitehall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.8 points per game this season. As for Traverse City West, they will head out on the road to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
