Basketball Recap: El Dorado Takes a Loss

El Dorado has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against the Villa Park Spartans on Tuesday, falling 71-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Golden Hawks have suffered since December 28, 2023.

El Dorado's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Villa Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Troy the next time they take the court. Villa Park will head out to face Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while El Dorado will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
