While Patriot's win against North Stafford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pioneers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Wolverines on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won four in a row.

Patriot's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for North Stafford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-1 record this season.

Patriot has already played their next game, an 11-2 win against Stafford on the 1st. As for North Stafford, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Riverbend at 6:00 p.m. The Bears will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight.
