Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Yesi C. Pilgrim and Chelsey Cate Lead North Idaho Christian to Victory

North Idaho Christian's game on Monday was all tied up 15-15 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top in a nail-biter against House of the Lord Christian Academy, sneaking past 41-38. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-35 back in December of 2024.

Leading North Idaho Christian to victory were Chelsey Cate and Yesi C. Pilgrim. Cate dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards, while C. Pilgrim dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Cate is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

North Idaho Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for House of the Lord Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

North Idaho Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against House of the Lord Christian Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
