Volleyball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Takes a Loss

Lake Forest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evanston Wildkits. If the Caxys were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wildkits when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16.

Lake Forest Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Evanston, they moved to 10-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Lake Forest Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Niles North on the 3rd. As for Evanston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Noble Street College Prep on the 3rd.
