Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Cheyenne Mountain

While Cheyenne Mountain didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past the Durango Demons with a 50-46 win on Saturday. The squad ran away with 36 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cheyenne Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Treglia, who went 7 for 13 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Mccoy Huckstep, who posted eight points and 15 boards.

The win was the fourth in a row for Cheyenne Mountain, bringing their record for this year to 9-1. As for Durango, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Cheyenne Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 68-61 loss against Rampart on the 14th. As for Durango, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-46 victory against Pagosa Springs on the 14th.
